Do I need to have my branding done before starting a website?
Not necessarily, but it matters more than most people think. If you already have a brand identity you love, we build your website around it. If you're working with something you've cobbled together over the years and aren't fully confident in, we need to talk about that before we start. Trying to fit a brand that isn't quite right into an elevated website is like putting the wrong outfit on for the most important meeting of your career. The site will fall flat and you won't be happy with the result. The Full Build was designed exactly for this moment — branding and website built together so nothing gets lost between the two. A discovery call will help us figure out which path makes the most sense for where you are.
What if I already have copy — can I use it?
It depends. If your existing copy is strong, strategic, and sounds like where your business is today, we can absolutely work with it. If it was written for an earlier version of your business or sounds like it was pulled from a prompt, we'll talk honestly about whether it's serving you. The goal is a website that converts and copy is half of that equation. We'll make the call together.
How hard is it to update my site myself after it's done?
Showit is one of the most user-friendly website platforms available. If you can drag and drop, you can update your site. We walk you through everything during your pre-launch call so you leave knowing exactly how to make changes without breaking anything. And if something comes up in those first few weeks, that's exactly what your three weeks of post-launch support is for.
